Earlier this month we were commissioned again to shoot for the Hilton group for some special commercial projects. Delighted we kicked off on home turf in Manchester. This first image came with the following brief. ” Please get a “Hero” landscape picture of our vertical tall building please. Preferably early morning”
I took this shot of the lobby whilst on top of a very very tall ladder photographing the restaurant
The iconic stairs where I’ve shot many a cherish the dress™ bride. Different viewpoint here as there is only one set of stairs.
Breakfast… this was one of the last shots in the sequence taken around 06.30. The day began at 04.30
Podium restaurant from the top of a ladder… a very tall ladder
Next pictures were of the presidential suite. If you look close enough halfway up on the right hand side you can see me waving
This is where I was waving from
and here is one of the loo’s
of course there are less expensive rooms available with nice views
but the excitement doesn’t stop there folks. Oh no ! Desk photography… living the dream
actually I’ve changed my mind…. boardroom settings comes pretty close
back up stairs to Cloud 23 and a spot of afternoon tea with a view over the city
and down on the city
the quaffing grounds of Hilton Honors members.. the rather lovely executive lounge
here is the view from Apollo lounge if you fancy taking your Assam here
but it’s not all tea and crumpet…
Pomeroy anyone ?
Over 4 days we pretty much covered most of the hotel. Being Manchester there is always a good variety in the weather… not just over a week, you can experience 4 seasons in one day. The brief required us to capture night time exterior shots of the iconic landmark Beetham tower in a landscape format that encapsulated Hilton Manchester at night. Thank you weather gods…
Castlefield basin a riot of colour courtesy of Barca, Dukes 92
old and modern transport systems in daily use in Manchester
and probably my favourite, two towers, centuries apart. Thanks for looking through the images. Hope you enjoyed a brief insight to our commercial photography.
